LOS ANGELES – This Friday, December 17th, 2010, Luenell will receive a well-deserved recognition as one of the world’s greatest living comics, in the company of her peers at Stevie’s Creole Cafe., located at 16911 Ventura Boulevard, Encino California 91316. The event promises to be one of the highlights of the holiday season 2010. Many of her celebrity friends will be in attendance.
For decades Luenell, who was born in the “rrrrural” town of Tollette Arkansas, has been making audiences laugh. From her early days in Oakland at Soul Beat Television to big screen accomplishments in the cult classic film Borat, to her city to tours with iconic comedian, Katt Willams, this lady of laughter has made an indelible mark in the field comedy.
Over the years, Luenell has received great notices; “Her reputation as a comic superstar continues to flourish, “…comedy demolition machine” (Eurweb report) “a sidesplitting high wired act without a net…” (Comedy Reviewer, Buddy Sampson), “…comedy to die for.” (Metro LA) “…one of the top 25 funniest people in LA (Los Angeles Magazine) and other great reviews.
Luenell continues to appear at venues across the US and can be seen in two comedy films Budz House and 35 and Ticking both set for release in 2011. The best is yet to come!
Marc Gaspard produces. Music performance by R&B/gospel singer Abraham McDonald.
